⚠️ Security Notice: Beware of Fraudulent Emails Pretending to Be from Volumetric Technologies

We have recently become aware of fraudulent emails being sent from an address that closely resemble our company’s domain (e.g., using a letter change like an uppercase “i” for a lowercase “L” in Technologies). These messages may reference former employees and/or appear to be legitimate business communications. This external party is attempting to spoof our email domain, sending fraudulent emails to our vendors. Please know we would not request a vendor quote without a conversation on what we need.

Please note: These emails are not from Volumetric and should be considered fraudulent.

We take email security seriously and are actively working to block and report this spoofing activity.

We deeply regret any confusion or inconvenience this may cause. Please rest assured that we are actively investigating the matter and have implemented additional security measures to mitigate the risk. Our former employee, Johnathon Ross has no involvement in this and has not been with us for several years. To help protect your organization, we recommend the following precautions:

  • Verify Email Authenticity: Carefully examine the sender's email address and be cautious of any discrepancies.

  • Avoid Clicking Suspicious Links or Attachments: Do not click on links or download attachments from unexpected emails claiming to be from us.

  • Confirm Unusual Requests: If you receive any requests for sensitive information or financial transactions that seem unusual, please verify their legitimacy by contacting us directly through known channels.

If you receive any suspicious message that appears to be from us:

  • Do not click any links or download attachments

  • Do not reply to the message. Our former employee, Johnathon Ross has no involvement in this and is no longer at Volumetrics.
