Entry Level Filling Machine FAQs

  • No — most standard shop compressors will work. Your compressor should provide 80–90 PSI at 3–5 CFM of clean, dry air. The benchtop filler has a built-in filter and regulator, but the incoming air should be reasonably dry to protect components.

  • The VT Benchtop Filler handles a wide range of products, from thin liquids like ethanol to thick creams, sauces, lotions, or peanut butter. Sticky, foamy, or chunky products can be accommodated with the right nozzle choice.

  • Typical production is 8-16 containers per minute, depending on container size, product thickness, fill volume and the humans operating the machine. Accuracy and consistency matter more than raw speed.

  • No. The machine is manual or semi-automatic and designed for easy operation. Most small operations run it successfully after a short setup and test run.

  • Very easy. All product-contact parts disassemble without tools, and sanitary clamps allow fast cleaning and changeover. Daily cleaning takes just a few minutes.

  • Yes. The volumetric piston system lets you set and record stroke lengths for each container size or product. Adjustments are mechanical and repeatable — no programming needed.
